This project involved the construction of a dye house plant that would serve textile operations of Penn Philippines. The said company transferred its plant from FTI to LIIP to satisfy its water supply requirements.
The plant itself is composed of three buildings, namely: the production building, the utilities building and the waste water treatment plant. These covering a total area of 11,316 square meters.
The structure of the buildings include a combination of steel and concrete columns; the lower portions being composed of concrete, with steel constituting the upper parts. Furthermore, the roofing is made of sandwich panels which have the advantage of built-in insulation and easy installation.
RNFA produced the master plan of the entire project and provided detailed design, as well as, overall construction management of Phase 1. And the project was accomplished with 725,106 man-hours, yet without any accidents or time lost.
